Alleluia. Christ is risen. Thank you for reading and supporting Interrupting the Silence. I am grateful for your presence through this past Holy Week and into Easter.

O God, whose blessed Son made himself known to his
disciples in the breaking of bread: Open the eyes of our faith,
that we may behold him in all his redeeming work; who lives
and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God,
now and for ever. Amen.

“Collect for Wednesday in Easter Week,” Book of Common Prayer, 223.

The carousel below has posts of the sermons I preached on Easter Sunday and during Holy Week.

Easter peace and life be with you.

    Thank You! Rev. Marsh,

My church, Trinity Cathedral, in Easton, Maryland had a service or walk through the Stations of the Cross, hand hewn out side of our church with a meditation prayer recorded by some of our parishioners during Holy Week.
At the end of our Sunday Lenten Services, our Pastor would ask for a Parishoner to help him carry the cross to the front of the Cathedral for all to see.
Yes, we adorned it with flowers, like yours.

Let me thank you again for I could not attends Holy Week Services nor Easter Sunday due to a family member who is ill. As I sat with them while they slept, would read your sermons for the day.

Blessed beyond blessed along with our pastor who gave me communion to share with my family.

Lent inspires supportive church communities and pastors like you and ours to uphold the way of the Lord for us to practice in our lives.

I hope your family member is recovering and that you are experiencing the joy and blessing of Easter life.

      Peace be with you,
      Mike
