Incarnation

“O inexpressible mystery and unheard paradox:
the Invisible is seen, the Intangible is touched ,
the eternal Word becomes accessible to our speech,
the Timeless steps into time,
the Son of God becomes the Son of Man.”

                                                                                     — Saint Gregory of Nyssa

I LOVE this quotation. Where is it from, and who made this translation?

    Thanks!

Yes, this is a great quotation. Unfortunately, I cannot find the source. I have looked in my notes and books where I thought I might have found it. I searched the internet and found the quotation several times – always attributed to St. Gregory of Nyssa but without a source citation. If I do locate the citation I will let you know. Peace, Mike
