Bless the Lord (Taize)

Bless the Lord my soul, and bless God’s holy name.

Bless the Lord my soul, who leads me into life.

“Since my youth, I think that I have never lost the intuition that community life could be a sign that God is love, and love alone. Gradually the conviction took shape in me that it was essential to create a community with men determined to give their whole life and who would always try to understand one another and be reconciled, a community where kindness of heart and simplicity would be at the centre of everything.”

I feel blessed just watching this over the internet. It reminds me that years ago I read about a study where they found that simply watching Mother Teresa minister to the dying raised people’s T cells (immune cells). Think of all the people whose very cells have been touched by this post! It brings tears to my eyes just to think of it…
