Bless the Lord (Taize)

Bless the Lord my soul, and bless God’s holy name.

Bless the Lord my soul, who leads me into life.

“Since my youth, I think that I have never lost the intuition that community life could be a sign that God is love, and love alone. Gradually the conviction took shape in me that it was essential to create a community with men determined to give their whole life and who would always try to understand one another and be reconciled, a community where kindness of heart and simplicity would be at the centre of everything.”

  1. Thanks, I needed that!

  2. I feel blessed just watching this over the internet. It reminds me that years ago I read about a study where they found that simply watching Mother Teresa minister to the dying raised people’s T cells (immune cells). Think of all the people whose very cells have been touched by this post! It brings tears to my eyes just to think of it…

  3. so very peaceful and comforting.
